Mood

This autumn, I'm feeling...

Music: anything by Kent; I suddenly miss that haunting, indie sound of theirs

Book: I'm gonna re-read "Chocolat" and not eat chocolate while at it

Film: "Iron Man 2", what else?

Food: I'm still rooting for a big bowl of puffing hot laksa from Laksa King; I've been rooting for it since maybe about a month ago

Place: Berlin; I got into this mini German phase when I found out there might be a family trip to Europe next year

Clothing items: corduroy pants, maroon-red jeans, lace-up knits and my yellow tennis shoes

Nauseating hopes

So this is my 100th post! Hmm, I guess this is a big milestone, more than my 600th tweet on Twitter.

Anyway, I've been feeling a bit dizzy and nauseous lately; I guess it's from my lack of exercising and I keep eating junk with little to no fruit and vegetable intake. That and lack of caffeine. I realise my body is starting to depend heavily on the stuff now.

Apart from that, it's another 2 weeks till Jakarta. I cannot wait. I'm looking forward to shopping, eating donuts and other junk, more shopping, more eating donuts and other junk and going to the salon to get my hair done and manicure pedicure. Oh, and I think I should make a list of things to eat while I'm there.

I'm serious.

Blogging while away

I think I'm gonna try and update this often when I go to Singapore and Jakarta in 2 weeks. Not that it's gonna be as exciting as a travel blog if one goes to somewhere like Europe or the US, but still. I thought I'd record stuff so when I'm back in Melbourne doing nothing, I can read about the fun again.

Yep, sounds like a plan.

Anyway, saw "Valentino: The Last Emperor" last night. It was an entertaining film, although I still enjoy "The September Issue" a lot more.

Good news

Yay, so we got our permanent residency today! Everything seems to be working out slowly; don't wanna jinx it, but hopefully other things will go my way.

We can start fresh now: I can work without worrying my savings will go into yet another tuition fee; I don't have to worry anymore about being the only uni graduate that keeps getting back to school; and I'm so partying like nuts on my birthday till I pass out with drunken jizz coming out of my mouth.

I'm going to Jakarta in the next month or so and luckily I've saved up enough money for the plane ticket and some spot of shopping over there.

Last but never least, thank you God.
