Mood

This autumn, I'm feeling...

Music: anything by Kent; I suddenly miss that haunting, indie sound of theirs

Book: I'm gonna re-read "Chocolat" and not eat chocolate while at it

Film: "Iron Man 2", what else?

Food: I'm still rooting for a big bowl of puffing hot laksa from Laksa King; I've been rooting for it since maybe about a month ago

Place: Berlin; I got into this mini German phase when I found out there might be a family trip to Europe next year

Clothing items: corduroy pants, maroon-red jeans, lace-up knits and my yellow tennis shoes

My winter look

I had this epiphany yesterday that I’m going to wear quirky-patterned crew-neck jumpers with a good pair of jeans in winter. Then I’ll alternate between flats and my trusty loafers, depending on whether it’s super cold or not. Love it!

I'm a dummy...

Worked on the magazine dummy tonight. Loved doing the layout design and putting shit together. It was like playing puzzle made of fashion pieces.

Still got a lot to work on, but I'm trying to keep positive.

Feeling inspired

Inspirational right now:

- A nice top with cute statement necklace
- The 60s
- Hot pink nails
- The tree-lined avenue outside my house during autumn; beautiful red leaves
- Money
- Europe

New favourite

Okay, after so many reality TV shows out there based on fashion, this one has finally hit my favouritism in a big way.

Stylista is the perfect meeting between my two favourite things: fashion and magazine publishing. It's got all the ingredients from both - drama, editorials, fashionable moments and of course, the stupid wannabes.

This show makes me want to learn more and sit at Borders for hours to read "Magazine Publishing for Dummies". And I'm feeling even more inspired to be that successful bitch of an editor now.
